InterContinental Berlin gets awarded twice
Berlin, January 23, 2026 – InterContinental Berlin was awarded twice at the HSMAI Awards Europe 2025 in London for its outstanding achievements in hotel marketing and digital communication.
The hotel received official shortlist recognition in both the “Best Social Media Presence” and “Best Digital Marketing Campaign” categories, placing it among Europe’s top submissions.
The jury particularly recognized the innovative, target-group-oriented social media strategy through which InterContinental Berlin has successfully positioned itself in Berlin’s highly competitive market. As the first hotel in the city, it implemented a CGI-based social media campaign, setting a new creative benchmark for the industry.
In the “Best Digital Marketing Campaign” category, the hotel impressed with an integrated omnichannel strategy across social media, search, video, as well as PR and influencer collaborations. The goal was to sustainably increase leisure and transient demand.

The awards are presented by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International
(HSMAI), the world’s leading organization dedicated to fostering sustainable revenue growth in the hospitality industry. Each year, HSMAI honours excellence in sales, marketing, and revenue management across Europe.
